Hola todos! I wanted to try this blogger before I left. It's directly connected to my gmail account, so it seemed kinda easy!
It's 12:17, we're leaving for the airport around 2. My flight leaves at 6:30 PM (local time) from Philadelphia. I arrive in Madrid at 8:15 AM (around 2:15 AM Eastern), where I will take a bus to the ATOCHA AVE Train Station. My train leaves at 10:10 AM local time, and I will arrive in Sevilla around noon (so 6AM back here on the east). I'm all packed & over thinking everything - trying to decide if I forgot anything or if I can leave unnecessary items here. I have one rolly suitcase and one carry on for seven weeks of life...kind of stressful!
I just want to start out my blog by saying THANK YOU. Thank you thank you thank you to everyone that has been so supportive of & excited for me. My parents are the best for giving me this opportunity to go abroad. My friends are the best for making my departure so sad, because I have so many friends that I'm leaving behind that I care about! I'm grateful for that though:) And my huge extended family - my grandma, aunts, uncles, and cousins - I'm blessed to have you all in my life. You guys make me feel so loved. Having so many people that I care about at home makes it hard to say goodbye, but it will make my return that much more exciting.
I just had to stop in the middle of this post because my friends Jess & Liz came by to say goodbye - they are like my little sisters! So cute. Love you guys and you just proved my point from my last paragraph!!
Well that's all I wanted to say for now! I'll update when I get the chance - next time will be from overseas.
